I’m a writer and editor specializing in longform narrative journalism, literary essays, and interactive visual features. My writing has been published in TheNew York Times Magazine, Wired, The Verge, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Orion, and National Geographic, among other outlets. I am the recipient of a grant from the Kari Howard fund for narrative journalism.

I am currently a staff editor for Opinion special projects at TheNew York Times. Before this, I was a features editor at Wired, The Believer, Harper’s, and the Columbia Journalism Review. The stories I’ve edited have been finalists for the National Magazine Award, anthologized in the Best American series, and adapted for This American Life and other media.

My zine, Know-It-All, is stocked at McNally Jackson (SoHo), Quimby’s (Brooklyn), and Harvesters, 1565 (Accord, NY) — or, write me and I’ll send you a copy.

I’m based in New York City. Keep in touch via my Substack or at camille.le.bromley@gmail.com.
